We have some exciting things to share with you as we begin 2022! Will you join us for a Zoom virtual meeting at noon on Tuesday, Jan. 18 for our first Louisiana Black Advocates for Life Pastors and Leaders Meeting of the new year?
During the meeting, we will introduce you to our new state director, Tara Wicker, and discuss Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, which is Sunday, Jan. 23. We will share with you things you can do in your church on this day to highlight this important topic.
We will also discuss other pro-life topics. Please make plans to join us to learn and share ideas!
I wanted to leave a quick comment that I heard Mrs. Wicker speak this past Saturday at the Right to Life walk in Lafayette. Truly an amazing speaker, woman, and mother. I was so thankful to be a part of the crowd to hear her inspiring words. I didn’t get to thank her in person for her speech but wanted to leave a quick thank you to her for being an amazing spokeswoman for life.
